Liam Neeson is an Irish actor, famous for portraying tough and intimidating characters. Since 1982, he has appeared in an astonishing 90+ films, some of the most well-known and critically-acclaimed being Schindler's List, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, the Taken franchise, and The Dark Knight Rises. More recently, he has lent his voice to several characters in both animated series and video games, arguably the most notable of which was Fallout 3 in 2007.
In May of 2018, it was announced that Neeson would be heading up the London branch of the Men in Black as High T.
Biography[]
Neeson was born in Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He started acting in school productions at the age of 17, and started garnering national attention as a prolific actor after joining the Lyric's Players Theatre in 1976.
He began his foray into full-length motion pictures in 1984, when he appeared alongside popular actors like Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins in The Bounty, and in 1986 with Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons in The Mission.
Throughout the next two decades, Neeson became a household name, appearing in films like K-19: The Widowmaker, and Kinsey. His most accomplishments include Taken 3, The A-Team, and A Million Ways to Die in the West.
