Janus was the head of the INS Agents. In the original film, Janus pulls over Nick who has a van full of immigrants. However, MiB agents Kay and Dee intervene and send all packing except one. Janus talks with the other agents, who know there is no INS Division Six (Kay's explanation). Janus sneaks down a hill to see what is happening, and finds the agents talking to Mikey. Mikey notices, and attacks, but is vaporized by Kay. Janus is neuralyzed and is given a reasonable explanation.
