Felix Gary Gray is an American film director, film producer, music video director, and actor. Gray made his feature film directorial debut with the comedy Friday. He has also directed such popular films as The Negotiator, The Italian Job, Law Abiding Citizen, Straight Outta Compton, and The Fate of the Furious.
Biography[]
Gray began his career as a director on several award-winning music videos, including "It Was a Good Day" by Ice Cube, "Natural Born Killaz" by Dr. Dre, and "Ms. Jackson" by Outkast, before moving into the world of the big screen at age 26. He was awarded both the Best Director and Special Achievement awards at the 2004 Black American Film Festival for his work on the 2003 film The Italian Job.
As of 1 May, 2019, Gray is rumoured to be working on film adaptations of Hasbro's M.A.S.K. and Deep Silver's Saint's Row video game franchise.
