Christopher Hemsworth is an Australian actor most famous for his portrayal of Marvel's Thor, the superhero and god of thunder. It was confirmed in February 2019 that he would also reprise the role of Agent H in the spin-off feature film, Men in Black: International.
Biography[]
Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He was also raised in the Northern Australian Outback, where he herded cattle as a young man. He started his acting career in 2002, at the age of 19. Appearing in local television shows, it was not until 2009 that he broke out into acting in full-length films.
He is the winner of several People's Choice Awards, as well as Kid's Choice Awards, mainly for his appearances in the Avengers series of Marvel movies as the superhero Thor.
As of 2010, he is currently married to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, known for her role as Elena Neves in the Fast and Furious film franchise. They have three children, a daughter born in 2012, and twin sons born in 2014.
