Blobfish is a jelly like pink fish. It's a real fish, that has a ugly and sad appearance. On the front of the head there is a process similar to a nose, flanked by two eyes and a sad mouth. The interorbital space is wider than the diameter of the eye.

Trivia[]

In the film, the fish is animated; but in fact, the Drop Fish can only be in this state dead when it is pulled out of the water too quickly. In the water, it looks completely different, similar to the most ordinary form of fish.
